AI Agents & Tool Use

Build reliable LLM agents that reason, call tools, and know when a plain pipeline wins.

intermediate · 45 minutes

An **agent** is a language model placed in a loop with tools, memory, and a goal so it can take actions in the world rather than just emit text. This course covers the core observe-reason-act loop, function calling, the ReAct pattern, planning, memory, multi-agent orchestration, and the failure modes that wreck agents in production. You will leave able to diagnose common agent bugs and decide when an agent genuinely beats a simpler, fixed pipeline.
